Structure of the day
Drop off
The Primary School day begins at 7:50am. Supervision is provided from 7:30am. For Kindergarten, students can be dropped off directly to the classroom where their teachers will be present. For students in Reception and KS1, morning supervision takes place on the infant yard. For students in KS2, supervision takes place on the junior yard.
Punctuality is extremely important, and students must arrive to school by 7:50am, as lessons begin promptly. Late arrival causes students to feel unsettled and interrupts class teaching. We would also like to remind parents that punctuality is recorded on their child’s permanent school record.
We understand that there may be rare occasions when families are unavoidably late due to unforeseen circumstances. On these occasions, please make sure that the administration team is contacted and students are registered at the front desk upon arrival.
Pick Up
For EYFS (Kindergarten and Reception) the school day ends at 1:45. Students who are not registered for clubs, must be collected from their classroom at this time.
For students in Year 1 – Year 6, the school day ends at 2pm. KS1 students must be collected directly from classrooms and students in KS2 are collected from the Junior yard. Supervision from 2:00pm-2:15pm is provided only for students registered for afternoon clubs.
As collection times can be busy, we politely request that parents collect children and return to their cars swiftly. Due to health and safety considerations, students are not permitted to use the school climbing frame at the end of the day as we do not have a supervising staff member available at this time.

Although expectations regarding coverage are set by the relevant member of the Senior Leadership Team, teachers are responsible for organizing the timings of individual subjects for their own classes, organized around the timings below:
