Jewellery
Is not permitted other than a small pair of matching stud earrings one on each earlobe and/or one discreet item of religious significance. Other items will be confiscated immediately by members of staff and will be returned at the end of the semester. Second offence-confiscated until the end of the year.
Girls hair
Extreme hairstyles (partly shaved, streaked, braided, etc) are not permitted. Unnatural coloured hair (green, pink, blue, purple etc) is also not acceptable. Students with hair that is deemed untidy or inappropriate will be sent home.
Boys hair
Tidy, clean and well-kept with no fancy or inappropriate hairstyles. The over application of hair products (wax, gel, etc) will not be tolerated. Students with hair that is deemed untidy or inappropriate will be sent home.
Appearance
Make-up is not permitted, nails must be clean with no varnish/gel etc. Boys should maintain a clean shaven appearance.

**All clothing should be clearly marked with the student’s name and must be clean, tidy and pressed at all times.

 

UNIFORM FOR YEAR 12-13 STUDENTS:

Generally, students of classes 12-13 are not expected to wear school uniform, however it is expected that they wear smart civilian clothing.

 

PE. Kit for Boys and Girls of all Secondary Years:

  1. Silverline PE t-shirt
  2. School tracksuit
  3. School shorts
  4. Trainers

*Students not wearing the school’s PE uniform will not be permitted to participate in the lesson and will be marked as not attending.

 

Repeated offences will lead to discipline action. Alternatively, students will be sent home after parents have been notified and will be marked absent. Students with extremely short hair or are unshaven will not be allowed to take part in the national parades.
